My little corner of the world. The place where I spend a large percentage of my time.

I remember seeing it for the first time. Not too small, not too big, potential for being cozy. I'll take it :)

I remember standing at the sink with Joel washing all of our brand new dishes and putting them away in the cupboards---and then wondering where we would put the food :)

I remember the first meal I fixed for my new husband here--spaghetti and salad. And then learning that he doesn't really like spaghetti :(

I remember the time Joel tried to use a new ice cream scoop, and it split in two, sending the entire tub of ice cream flying across the kitchen table and onto the floor. Oh, how we laughed!

I remember after we first moved in, our house had been empty for more than a year. Joel spent one evening chasing a flying squirrel around our kitchen, trying to get it out the front door!

I remember feeding my baby her first runny oatmeal in this kitchen. It was so runny, it was almost not cereal at all. I didn't want her to choke :/

I remember my little guy discovering himself in the oven door for the first time and giving me a huge grin. "Look Mama, another little boy!"

I remember my little girl climbing up on a chair beside me for the first time and saying "Mama, I can help! Let me stir!"

So, you see, even after only 3 1/2 years, me and this little kitchen have alot of fond memories. How thankful I am for my little corner of the world :)

And so you see, I will try not to complain too much when the floor needs scrubbed and then is covered in crumbs ten minutes later. It's just another memory to tuck away, right ;)

Right - it is definitely another memory in a string of blessings to tuck away!
