Movie Time

Joel had worship team practice tonight, so I told the kids that I'd let them stay up a little past their bed time and watch part of a 'special' movie--the new Charlotte's Web. Movies are a rare thing for the kids in our house, so Cosette was thrilled at the idea. She was totally into it! She loved the little pig that talked, his friend Charlotte, and the rest of the talking animals. Eli's attention span was a little shorter, though. He lasted about fifteen minutes, and then, during the rest of movie time, he managed to---find the air freshner from the bathroom and try to destroy the can it was in, as well as trying to figure out if he could possibly eat the contents of the can (don't worry, it's non-toxic :) , tear the back off of a picture frame from the night stand, and find the end to my vacuum cleaner, which he promptly stuck in his mouth and started making 'too-too' noises. Yuck! So anyway, I think both Cosette and Eli really enjoyed our movie night :) And Mommy breathed a sigh of relief when they were finally tucked in bed :)

You are a good mommy! Unfortunatley, movies are a very common thing around our house, so Devyn rarely gets overly-excited when we put one on. She did, however, love Charlotte's Web too. =)

Aaaawwwwhhh... I just bought Carlottes Web, because it's not well known in Germany and I was curious (found it linked on some blogs). It so cute!!!

And Eli is too! That guy sure knows how to enjoy a free evening :-)

The differences in ages. And between boys and girls, I'm told. :)
